Love, Lies, and Spies

Unwanted romance and lies awaits you in this great book by Cindy Anstey. The setting, which seems like in the era of bonnets, gentlemens, and a whole world of 19th century fashion, is matched with the amazing characters of Juliana Telford and Spencer Northam. Meet Juliana Telford, a woman with no interest in love, but on the study of...insects and Spencer Northam, a spy for the British government. The two main characters are intertwined and a destined love blooms( I know, kinda cheesy right?). Overall, I think it's a pretty good book. Lots of love triangles and there was a distinct part where I was like,"Whoa." If you read this book before or is going to then let me know if you have/had any of those moments. Comment.

Rating: 4 (out of 5)

Overview: A nineteenth century novel with just as much action as there is a blooming romance. Juliana Telford is forced to live a life that she does not want, a life with courtships, social status, and dresses. Spencer Northam is a young spy working for the British. By chance, the two people meet and it isn't long before they find "unapologetic romance". However, Spencer's mission has something to do with...(you guessed it), Miss Juliana Telford.
