Yes. It is this subject. Team test are usually in math and if you know what I'm talking about, please give like so I know I'm not the only one. I guess I'll start the story now...
Math=whole bunch of crazy(sorry, it's hard to describe) Today was a team test, meaning a test, but you work with your group/partners and you all get the same grade. Some people are like team test for that fact that they know, they won't have to do anything. Some people hate it and rather have an individual test because they know they'll have to do everything. Well, for people who are not either of those, then they are probably In Between. If you are In Between then you probably copy, but still do some work and help out. If the word COPY is too much of a strong word for you, then I recommend you stop reading (Warning: I'll use this word a lot).
I had a team test. My group consisted of a boy, super smart girl, my friend, and me (or is it I). Personally, I would call myself an In Between person; I give and take. Isn't that what a person in any team should do, right? So, how come the other people in my group don't do this. I'm not saying this for everybody, but you know who you are. If you don't well, you are the friend and the boy. I have nothing against the boy, I think he is just shy (only boy in the group). I would be too if I was in that situation. Sorry, that wasn't the point. The point is (not to be rude), but the friend needs to ...help out too. Lets say her name was Alice. Alice does not realize that she is not doing anything. She might think she is helping, but the reality is: She is NOT. The smart girl does 68.3% of the "team test" and I would like to say I do 40%. Sorry, it's not accurate, but I'm not god in math. Ironic. Me ranting about math, even though I could say I'm bad at math. She is smart, she has As, and the teacher likes her. Before you question me, me and her got the same answer, yet the teacher gave her a higher point. WHAT?! Anyway... my friend and the boy do...nothing. From day one, the boy was always like that (he never talked/still never talks). Alice talks, she asks a lot of question (relating with the test and sometimes not with the test), and because I sit next to her, Alice asks me.
I'm at the point where I answer half of her questions and ignore the rest. Alice asks questions because she says and I quote, "I don't understand anything. Can I see your paper?" I'm her friend and she is in my group, so I let her. But...she does this all the time. She gets away with this just because it is a team test. I don't hate team test, but I can't stand the people who do nothing. I like team test, mostly because you don't have to work alone, but I don't like it when people take advantage and asks questions so that they can hide the fact that they are: doing nothing and copying. The thing is, Alice does not realize she is doing this. Well, at least I don't think she realizes it. Maybe she does this on purpose to try to fool us, but who knows? She always has to look at everyone paper, she always has to talk to make it seem like she is doing work, and at the end...(this part triggers me), she grabs everyone's paper, align them so that they are right next to each other, and looks through all of them. This might sound normal and casual, but if someone copys consistently and always needs help on something, then this is...ANNOYING. I don't get annoyed that often, but I do if people keep doing something all the time. Alice is my friend, it's just she doesn't know that she can't just cheat and copy all the time; homework, classwork, or test. Yes, she does do that on individual test and homework(she told me). (Sigh)
After the team test was finished, me and my other friend kept on ranting. We talked about the group and how we might all fail the test. I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. If you know, comment if you know someone like "Alice" as well. Sorry if this personal story got you sad, but I needed to get my feelings out. Hope you guys understand!
The End.
Btw: I got a B on the test
