Easy Recipes for You
Flan

Background:
- prep time: 30 minutes
- 1 serving
- Raspberry and two mint leaves on top: optional
- Covered in caramel
Ingredients:
- ⅛ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of milk
- ½ egg
- ½ egg yolk
- ⅛ cup of white sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350℉ or 175℃
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar until brown, pour into two pans
evenly
- In medium heat, boil the milk, add eggs one at a time, and add white sugar (granulated sugar)
- Mix well
- Pour milk mixture into the slightly hardened caramel and put into oven for 20 min.
- Let cool
-Enjoy!
Lemon Bars

Background:
- 18 servings
- powdered sugar(optional)
- prep time: 25 min.
Ingredients:
- half cup of softened butter
- a quarter cup white sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 3 quarters cup white sugar
- 1 eighth cup all-purpose flour
- 1 lemon, juiced (no seeds)
Directions:
- Preheat oven- 350 Fahrenheit
- Butter, one cup flour, and a quarter cup sugar- mix
- Press mixture onto a 9 by 13 in. pan
- Bake for 10 to 15 min.
- Take out to cool
- Pour the remaining sugar, eggs, flour(pour over crust)
- Bake for 10 min. When they cool, cut into square sized bars and put powdered sugar on top(optional)
Lemon Cupcakes

Background:
-prep time: 1 hour
-serving amounts: 10 cupcakes
-slice of lemon on top: optional
Ingredients:
-1 cup of self-rising flour
- 0.16 teaspoons of salt (maybe 20)
- 0.3 cups of unsalted butter (keep warm)
- ½ cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest
- ½ cups of milk (whole=fresher)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Additional: Frosting
-1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup confectioners’ sugar(powdered sugar)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Directions:
- Preheat oven- 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Line cupcake pan with 10 cupcake liners or holders(preferably yellow)
- beat the self-rising flour in a bowl and in another bowl whisk together the unsalted butter and the sugar until perfectly smooth
- Now pour the butter mixture into the flour mixture, then add the milk and lemon
Juice (beat together)
- Fill the cupcake liners with the mixture and bake for about 15 min.
- For the frosting, in a bowl pour the heavy cream until smooth and add the lemon juice to your taste
Cake Pops

Background:
-prep time: 15 minutes (without including baked cake)
-serving: depends on cake size and size of cake ball
-optional toppings: sprinkles, cake crumbs, etc.
Ingredients:
-cake(any)
-cake pop sticks
-one package of candy melts or chocolate melts
-sprinkles (optional decoration)
-styrofoam block or board with holes
-about one cup of frosting or cream cheese
Directions:
- In a bowl, crumble your cake into little pieces
-Add in your frosting and mix together to get a consistency of play-doh
-Form cake crumbs into a ball(bite size)
-Chill balls for 10 minutes in the fridge
-Take out and melt chocolate in microwave for 30 second intervals until you get a liquid consistency
-Let chocolate cool completely
-Dip sticks in about 2 centimeters into chocolate mixture
-Immediately, insert the sticks into the cake balls
-Dip cake balls into the remainder chocolate (make sure to do this delicately)
-Place bake balls on styrofoam block and let chocolate set or decorate with sprinkles as topping or covering
- Let set on counter and Enjoy!
Cookie Truffles (Oreo)

Background:
-prep time: 1 hour and 30 min.
-serving: 48 truffles
-decoration suggestion: zebra striped (white chocolate), sprinkles, etc.
Ingredients:
-1 pack of Oreos (any flavor to your liking)
-1 block of cream cheese or 8 oz.
-any chocolate (melted)
-wax/parchment paper covered baking sheet
Directions:
-Crush Oreos into fine grain
-Add in softened cream cheese
-Mix until it creates paste like consistency
-Create 1 inch round balls and place on parchment paper
- Dip truffles into melted chocolate
-Place on parchment paper
- Let set in fridge for one hour
-Enjoy!
