Summer Snacks

Homemade Frozen Fruit Pops(BASIC)

 

Kiwi popsicle

You can make any flavor, style, or fruit!

All you need:


  • Popsicle Mold(ex: Walmart, IKEA, grocery store)

Link to this one:

  • Popsicle Sticks

  • any fruit in liquid form or small pieces/chunks(ex: blender)

  • food coloring(optional)

Other Popsicles

 

Cake Batter Popsicle


What you need:

  • Popsicle mold

  • Popsicle sticks

  • 3 cups ice cream(preferably vanilla)

  • 3/4 cup yellow cake mix

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup sprinkles(good quality)

Directions:

Blend together all ingredients until smooth. Place batter in molds and freeze for about 4 hour or overnight. After one hour later, place popsicle sticks in. When serving time, run warm water on molds for 30 sec. to 1 minute. To pull out, wait for 1-2 minutes.

ENJOY!!!

Coffee Popsicles

 

What you need:

  • Popsicle Mold

  • Popsicle Sticks(or mold might come with stick)

  • 1 can of coconut milk

  • 2-3 teaspoon maple syrup

  • 1 cup of coffee(recommended strong brewed)

Directions:

  • Blend ingredients together for 1 min. Place in mold and then in freezer for 6 hours. After one hour later, place popsicle sticks in. When serving time, run warm water on molds for 30 sec. to 1 minute. To pull out, wait for 1-2 minutes.

ENJOY!!!

Chocolate Dipped Frozen Bananas

 

What you need:

  • sticks(corn dog or round popsicle sticks)

  • melted chocolate

  • peeled bananas

  • sprinkles, nuts, candy for garnish(optional)

  • vegetable oil

Directions:

  • Get peeled bananas and insert stick(if it starts to break a little, once you freeze them, you won't notice the breaks)

  • Put bananas in freezer for 2 hours

  • Melt your chocolate and add vegetable oil for thin consistency(or however you like)

  • Cover banana and garnish with any sprinkles, etc.

  • Put back in freezer until set and firm

ENJOY!!!

Fruit Pops(Actual Fruit)

 

What you need:

  • Corndog or popsicle stick or skewers

  • Fruit of your choice (not ripe)

  • metal cookie cutter(optional)

Directions:

  • Cut your fruit using cookie cutter. Once ready to serve, insert stick.

ENJOY!!!

Smoothies(BASIC)

 

What you need:

  • Fruit

  • Vanilla yogurt

  • Milk

  • ice

Other Smoothies:

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

 

What you need:

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup strawberry

  • 1/2 vanilla yogurt

  • 1/2 milk

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients together.

ENJOY!!!

Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie

 

What you need:

  • 1 cup strawberry

  • 2 peeled kiwis

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 cups ice

Directions:

  • Blend together until good consistency.
